Summary
After the multiverse mess with Doctor Strange, Peter Parker has been stuck in Gotham for months. There, he runs into Wanda Maximoff, a former Avenger from his world, who's also stranded.
They decide to stick together, finding an odd sort of comfort in their shared losses—Wanda, a mother without a child, and Peter, a child without a mother.
Things get tricky when Nightwing and other heroes try to get involved in Peter's life. They even say that his father in this universe wants to meet him. Peter's avoiding that, not wanting to dredge up old issues or put this version of his dad in danger because of his "Parker luck."

It’s a futile fight against the frantic fear clawing craters up his throat. Adrenaline would be a a stupor Peter would gladly forfeit to, something as buzzing and blissful as a charged sense of urgency, something that devotes itself to a purpose, something that sharpens instinct and ambition into action. Something that wouldn’t assimilate itself into his familiar tolerance of constant aching.
In this reverie, beyond the haze of hollow emotion, maybe Peter’d finally get off this godforsaken roof.

“I mean you’ve been evading Fury for a decade or so,” Power shrugged, “Widow’s the best of the best. It’s a smart choice,”
Peter sighed, hanging his head, “Why do I have to have a stupid ‘moral objection’ to mind-wiping,” He griped, using his spare hand to massage his temples.
“Well, that’s the reason we chose you to wield us,” Power pointed out in an annoyingly sensible fashion. “Even after several millennia, you don’t let the abilities go to your head,”
AKA a time travel fix-it AU where Peter actually fixes shit (I just love SHIELD and we all know if Fury had been there during CW the Avengers would still be together). He is also extremely Done. Natasha is his glorified babysitter.
