The potent and fragrant smell that came from the traveler was unlike anything the platinum-haired boy had smelled before. Every inhale he took was overwhelming whenever he was near Aether— to the point that he became lightheaded when exposed to it too much.
Was it the scent of the blonde that made him feel that, or was it something else? Perhaps it was something more than the fact that Kazuha used the fragrance of people to evaluate them.
Kazuha didn't care, all he cared about was getting near to the blonde again. To smell that intoxicating aroma once again.

"Can I... kiss you?" There was a long pause between words, but Aether couldn't fault him for it. Granted he would have never guessed this ghost-hunting business would end in such a way, it still didn't relieve him of the growing heartrate and heat rising in him at those very words. He gulped, nervously fidgeting in place as Chongyun seemed to patiently wait for any type of response.
Maybe this would bite him in the ass later down the road, or maybe he'd be greeted with a flustered Chongyun every time their eyes met in the future -- which, wouldn't be so bad. A nice change of pace.
