“Eddie tried to kiss me.”
“Oh,” Maddie said, her voice so soft that Buck almost didn’t hear it. “Wow.” Despite her monosyllable answers, as Buck turned to face her, he realised she didn’t look anywhere near as shocked as he thought she would. He decidedly did not think too hard about why that was. “So, you and Eddie…” She let the sentence trail off with a waggle of her eyebrows that made Buck’s stomach flip.
“What? No!” he insisted. “He’s straight.”
“Erm…” Maddie muttered, pulling a face that – again – Buck was not going to look into as she held up her hand to interject.

AKA - Eddie forgets that he tried to kiss Buck when he was drunk. Buck does not realise he forgot. A hell of a lot of miscommunication follows.

Summary
You’d think that the hardest part of the job would be memorizing a million different drink combos or dealing with the asshole customers. Maybe even operating the machines. But no. It’s pouring goddamn milk in a cup. The motions are just so precise and you have to have the perfect ‘wet paint’ texture for the milk and it’s also very very hot.
OR
Latte art is very hard and sometimes it comes out looking like something different than you intended.

Eddie felt his face slide into a pleased grin as he nodded. “Steve Harrington. Toronto Maple Leafs.”
The interviewer's eyebrow crooked. “Oh yeah? You a big hockey fan?”
His mouth opened but Gareth beat him to it “No, you don’t understand. He had never watched a full game before this in his whole life. The only things he knows about hockey is what has to do with Steve.”

“What? No. No!”
“Pardon my hesitance,” Eddie says, narrowing his eyes, “this is just- kind of unexpected. And by that, I mean- a bit of a mind fuck.”
Steve clears his throat, looks down at his shoes.
Eddie kind of dances from side to side, ducks down to recapture Steve's gaze. “And by that- I mean- cereal shopping with Steve ‘the hair’ Harrington while he apologises on behalf of high school jocks everywhere.”
