Summary
After a devastating war, Greece and Rome have entered a ceasefire. This has allowed them to live in relative peace, with all but one thing threatening their tranquility: a Great Prophecy detailing how a child of Hades will destroy the very foundation their truce is built on.
Three years into the ceasefire, Will finds a dying boy in his garden. And despite that boy spelling the end of them all, his conscience won't leave him to die.

“Bianca,” he weeps. “Sorella.” He gasps, out of breath from crying, but he can’t stop himself. Slowly, his legs sink to the floor, but he still keeps his grip firm on his sister, not letting go of her for a second.
He hears Bianca swallow in between his own sobs. “I’ve been gone for a long time, haven’t I?” She says, hand resting on his back. Nico doesn’t respond, only whimpers leave his lips. “It’s okay, Nico, I’m here now. Just cry, Nico.”
And cry he does.
...
Or, when Bianca somehow comes back from the dead, she, Nico and Will are sent on a quest that will hopefully answer some lingering questions. But Nico and Bianca are not the kids that they once were, and things get very difficult as a result.
