If you ask anyone in the mansion what their opinion of Jean Grey is, the most common answer you would get is.
It 's complicated.
She arrived one day, Charles Xavier next to her. She was cold, distant and most of the time she gave one-word answers. Ask about her past? She would just stare at you and walk away. Invite her to a movie night? She would say she already has her agenda full.
She was a cold beauty with telepathic powers who rivaled the most powerful students of the mansion. Someone who until this day nobody knew a single thing about her, except for her powers.
But when people needed help, when people were in the dumps she was the first person to be there for them. She was the first person to react when something happened, as if her body moved on its own. She was the person who always got everyone back.
Color them surprised when they saw the same levelheaded, serious redhead, giggling like a little girl in what most would describe as living Spider-Man merch-advertisement attire accompanied by a plain guy who they never saw before.
