Summary
After Goro Akechi’s apparent death in Shido’s Palace and the collapse of the false reality, there are rumours of an angry ghost haunting the house Masayoshi Shido once called home. Resolved to not let their former teammate remain trapped, the former Phantom Thieves all band together to find the ghost and help him move on – but something is determined to punish them for their failure, and its rage will not be sated so easily.

Summary
The Phantom Thieves have nearly secured their route through Maruki's Palace. There’s only one section left: The Twilight Corridor. A paradise where everything is perfect, and everyone is always smiling.
In order to enter that place, the Thieves must first prove they've "completed orientation" and can be "happy." There are points, there is a scoreboard, and they’re locked together in an experimental space where wishes can be granted by simply saying them aloud. Everyone has to individually earn 100 happiness points, or no one is leaving.
So what is “happiness,” really? How does Maruki define happiness? What the hell is a quantifiable happiness point? Is there any way around this? Don’t these stupid kids realize this is a trick to get them to fall back into the thrall of Maruki’s reality? And why can’t Goro earn any fucking points?
(Or: I've been watching too much Dropout Game Changer and I’ve built an Akechi torture chamber.)

The sharp inhale against his lips and the immediate slacking of Goro’s fingers told him everything. The way he leaned back in towards him and the press of lips kisses him right back just as hard was everything to Ren. And in it being everything it just breaks his heart further. It was as if Goro Akechi had come into his life just for the sole purpose of ripping him in two and squandering away his heart. It hurt. It was the most vulnerable he’d ever felt since he’d come to Tokyo.
If Goro Akechi had reached into his chest and pulled his heart out as a keepsake for the rest of his life in this very moment Ren would have let him- not one question asked.
. . .
The morning of the fight with Maruki goes a little differently. Ren can't let Goro go that easily. He's got to tell him. There's too much left unsaid between them.

"Uh," says Akira, eloquently. He clears his throat, "Well, you—um, you're a liar?"
