It's easy for children to see their parents as unstoppable and fearless, perfect even. So they often times forget that their parents were once young too. That they made mistakes and had to learn, that they have been scared and helpless. That the way they raise their kids reflects what they went through in the past. So when parents, children and friends are presented with the opportunity to see the past. It's best to not waste it.

Summary
Neytiri feels like Jake’s most recent hunting trip has lasted four months instead of only four days.
She’s always hated spending long stretches of time apart, but this time her desire for his return feels stronger than ever. This hunting trip is the longest he’s been gone since the birth of their youngest child, Tuk, a little over a month ago.
It’s hard not having him next to her as they marvel over the newest addition to the family, but it’s only gotten harder as certain urges and needs start to stir to life inside of her.
She can't count the number of times she's get distracted thinking about Jake’s body. The curve of his mouth. The breadth of his shoulders. The strength of his hands. The thickness of his thighs.
Her stomach tightens with want, and she's left alone in the disappointing knowledge that none of those things are within reach.
Or: Neytiri sets out to seduce Jake after the birth of Tuk.

Hunting trips are usually one of the things Neytiri loves most, but today she finds herself wishing this trip would end.
She stares across the cooking fire to where Jake is sitting and eating. He is not sitting next to her – he is not even talking to her – and she feels like the entire trip has been wasted. It started off so wonderfully only to end in absolute disaster!
She takes a bite of her food and stares moodily into the fire, anger twisted inside her stomach.
How did she find herself here, eating roasted winzaw meat while across from her a woman she is finding harder and harder not to want to shoot is flirting with Jake?
This is not what I planned.
Or: Neytiri is jealous and Jake finds himself balancing on a tightrope he doesn't even realize he's on.
