If Ochako had to choose anyone to be psychically connected to as a result of an unfortunate quirk, Bakugou is about the last person she would choose. Really, the only person she'd hate being linked to more is Deku, who broke her heart last year. Naturally, that means that while she was in a fight with some evil child-killing bastards after a long day of saving lives, it had to be Bakugou the villain tied to her mind. They say two minds are better than one, but Ochako doesn't think they meant it for this particular context.

When Ochako's mother ends up in the hospital and her family is slammed with impossible medical bills, she takes it upon herself to help her parents debts. And while she's cracking under the pressure to keep up with academics, hero training, and now her jobs, Ochako refuses to admit anything to her friends and classmates.
Returning home late at night from one of her jobs, Ochako is nearly caught by her best friend Mina. Desperate to avoid the truth coming out, Ochako does the only thing she can think of in the moment to not get caught: kiss the first person she sees in the middle of the hallway.

Ochako is a chill person.
She’s fun and open-minded and cheerful and outgoing and not much bothers her. She doesn’t get annoyed by the stresses of her career – she tells off the interviewer for being a total dick and she holds her groupmates’ hair when they’re trying to go down a dress size before an award show and she charges at the paparazzi who thought they’d get away with getting too close and she stays late in the studio, forever rerunning lines to fit a standard that she can never reach.
She takes the weight of it for them; it's impossibly heavy, with the whole world and its expectations on her shoulders.
Ochako is a very chill person, until she isn’t.
Fame isn't for everyone — Ochako just got lucky.
