He frowns so hard, his head throbs again. He's trying to put together the pieces: the girl, Hen and Eddie looking older, the unfamiliar ring on his finger…it feels like he's trying to add 2+2 and he's getting 300.
"October 2025," he says, looking between them. He catches the grimace on Hen's face, the dawning look of horror on Eddie's. "I'm going to take a very wild guess and say that's not the case."
"No," Hen says uncertainly.
Or: Tommy experiences two very different apple picking dates, many years apart and he's very confused. In his defense, he didn't expect to wake up with amnesia.
