Summary
He had grasped his pendant subconsciously again, seeking comfort in the old worn thing. His grandmother had given it to him barely hours after his parents had died. They had been hiking, so he was told, when a landslide had ended the trip prematurely. His grandmother, his only remaining relative, had kept him ensconced in the old shrine until he willingly put the pendant on and learned the words that she taught him.
The same words he was now repeating again and again.
“Ut tu etiam protege me.”
He probably should have known what it meant.

Inspired by prompt.
"Person A owns two special pens, which they got as a present or inherited from an older family member. They think they´re just normal pens, but what they don’t know is: Their family used to be some sort of magical spies and used the pens for communication. If one of them were to get caught or lost on a mission, they would have the pen with them and anything they wrote with the pen would appear on the nearest surface to the person with the other pen. Person A misplaces one of the pens. But soon, on all the surfaces around A, beautiful stories, poems and drawings start to appear. Slowly but surely, A falls in love with Person B, the person with the other pen."
AKA Teru loses his shit (literally and figuratively), words appear on all surfaces and he doesn't know who has the other pen. Mob is just doing his own thing.

(A ring made from the Tri-ni-sette is not simply a flame-igniter. Nor is it's destined holder simply limited by the ring.)
The Vongola Intuition was Tri-ni-sette's gift to the Vongola sky, but it was Giotto's gift just as the ring was Giotto's ring. How could the safe-keepers that were the subsequent Vongola skies understand (or use) the ability to deduce the future from the past.
However, like the Mare rings, the Vongola rings have also found their proper successor after years of slumber, and he will know the meaning of omniscience.
