Toni made a noncommittal grunt, moving the hoodie a bit in an effort to keep her face against the coolest parts of the fabric.
“You can reach your hand into my brain,” she mumbled, her voice low and even. “Turn off whatever part of it is making me hurt so bad.”

“I mean a fun party.” Yelena clarifies, and then her eyes sparkle like a lightbulb just went off in her head. “We can do a sleepover!” She nearly shouts, clapping her hands together.
“A what?” Toni turns off her game, looking over at Yelena like the word was completely new to her.
“A sleepover. Just the three of us, we make the boys go out and do something else, and we all wear fun pajamas and do each other's nails and order pizza.” Yelena explains, before her tone turns sorrowful. “Like we are kids again…since we did not get to have a sleepover as kids.”
