Summary
They move quickly down the red carpet.
A camera flash goes off reflexively, a burst of blinding light in the darkening evening—one.
Then two.
Then many flashes all at once as the press recognizes a peculiarity in the sight in front of them. A scandal-ridden actor and a down-on-his luck idol make for an unlikely pair. Especially when the two have never once publicly interacted before tonight.

“You said earlier that you don’t like it.” His voice is low, tone darkly amused. “When I touch your ears, right?” Ziyu’s head lolls as he nods. Xuning chuckles, the warm air flooding across Ziyu’s ear leaving goosebumps. “That is a lie.” Ziyu opens his mouth to protest but pauses when Xuning’s grip on his jaw tightens. “You respond so strongly when I play with your ears, when I kiss right here.” He presses an opened mouth kiss against Ziyu’s ear, the sound wet. He smiles against the skin as Ziyu’s gasps. “You asked why I am obsessed with your ears? This. This is why.” Xuning takes the earlobe into his mouth and sucks.

Summary
The ring slides slowly down the slender finger. It goes easily until the final knuckle, catching slightly. Chi Cheng pushes once. twice. Until it glides past, sitting secure at the base of Suowei’s finger. He twists the ring until the design rests perfectly, black diamond catching in the moonlight.
And Suowei sleeps, chest rising evenly, long lashes kissing against his cheeks as he dreams on.

“If that is not an emergency, you have exactly thirty seconds to get rid of that phone call and turn your damn phone off. Or I can throw it out of the window.” Wu Suowei moves his hand down Chi Cheng’s chest and across his abdomen, tugging on the ends of Chi Cheng’s black tank top to show the skin underneath. He sways forward, noses brushing in a mimic of their confession from earlier in the night. I’m yours. Chi Cheng’s eyes dart between Wu Suowei’s face and his trailing hand.
