    Summary

    From nothing, a burst of consciousness. Its fingers twitch slightly, while its eyes remain shut. It’s attempting to move. Not with any kind of purpose, or even thought; but, rather, the same kind of mindless urge to do something, anything, that comes with any freshly born being.
    Gradually, its mind begins to wake. It can’t move its limbs, still–only able to vaguely suggest small movements of its fingers, corners of its mouth and eyelids–but it has begun processing its environment.
    Encased. It’s encased, both in some sort of small space, and in a fluid that, in its heightened state of lucidity, it can sense being absorbed into its flesh.
    With this awareness, it feels its first emotion. Fear. It wants out. It needs to be let out. The enclosed space isn’t comforting, it’s suffocating. Something deep within this being wants to move, spread its arms and legs, feel the fresh air of the surface. It longs for something it feels like it knows, but that feels completely alien to it all the same.

    After Donnie and Leo were experimenting to make another weapon capable of teleportation: they seem to fail… though instead they end up getting a bunch of other Leo’s from other dimensions sent to their universe, proving Donnie’s theory that the multiverse is real, but anywho. They also bring with them a force which wishes to bring down the human race in every dimension. Only leaving the Yōkai race left alive. This force being.. well you’ll just have to see.

    They exit the portal aggressively, Leonardo is thrown shell first against a rough and cold brick wall, his arms still around the human.
    It was colder, not constantly humid like always. The sky was clear and lights in many neon colors illuminated the space from beyond the dark alley they had been spit into by the portal. “We… We made it?…“ he mumbles, getting his bearings. “I can’t believe we made it! Sensei we made it!”

    This is a world in which Mob and Reigen’s paths have never crossed, in which 10-year-old Mob found psychic guidance in the form of the aging, retired tv personality Keiji Mogami, in which Reigen followed through on his plans to close the Spirits and Such Agency, in which a cruel twist of Mob’s powers forces him to confront how dangerous he really is.

    10 year old Shigeo Kageyama has vanished, his trail instantly cold, and his case gathers dust in police archives as a kidnapping never solved. Four years pass before a chain of events causes his path to cross with that of the despondent, unfulfilled fake-psychic-turned-fake-investigator, Arataka Reigen. Reigen finds himself in over his head caring for an escaped victim of abuse who, for reasons unfathomable, has been taught to believe his very existence is a horrifically dangerous thing…

    “What do you mean we’re back to normal?” Raph questioned, pulling back from the hug. Mikey and Leo also pulled back to stare at Donnie. “We’ve-we’ve always been like this?”

    Donnie went quiet. He shouldn’t have said that.

    “Donnie, what did you do?”

    The brothers found out about Donnie’s Mental Intelligence Reprogrammulator. Arguments are had, words are said, words that tear a rift between him and his family, and it’s up to Donnie to earn his brothers’ forgiveness. The only thing is, will he get it?
