He watches through the haze as Scott pulls off his shirt and lays flat on his back, giggling like an idiot when Stiles licks a long line up the side of his neck. Stiles’ obscene fingers curl around the salt shaker, white salt stark against Scott’s skin, other hand plucking a lime from the bowl sitting in front of Lydia and placing it between Scott’s teeth. “Stop laughing asshole,” Stiles demands, not able to follow the command himself as he attempts to fill Scott’s belly button was tequila. Scott’s still giggling, rivets of alcohol running across his abs and down the cut of his hips. Derek’s mouth begins to water as Lydia starts screeching at Stiles to get on with it. It’s both the best and worst thing Derek’s ever seen. Stiles lips sucking harshly against the column of Scott’s throat, the absolutely awful slurping as he sucks the tequila up, Scott’s laughter quieting when Stiles’ closes his mouth over his lips, biting at the lime but not pulling away nearly as fast as he should have. Derek’s jeans are feeling a little tight and there’s a part of him that wants them to keep going, wants to watch.

He isn't really worried, because it sounds like kids, but then the door opens and hi, says his dick, because the dude in front of him is gorgeous, built like a god with a face like thunder. Stiles wants to lick that solid jaw line. Hold the fuck on, says his cop brain, because the dude's got kids hanging all over him; one's on his back, skinny legs looped around his waist, and another two hanging off one arm, toes barely brushing the ground. There's a tubby toddler clinging to his leg like a koala, and he's got a baby tucked into the crook of the one arm that doesn’t have kids hanging off it. Stiles' mouth drops open.
"How many of those kids did you kidnap?" he asks before he can wrangle his brain into submission.
The man gives him a look that says what the fuck is wrong with you and snaps, "You think I'd subject myself to this on purpose?"
"Oooh," says one of the kids hanging off his arm. "I'm telling Mom."

When Stiles finds Syzygy, he’s running on empty. After weeks of partying and generally enjoying his last semester of college, he’d finally remembered that midterms were around the corner, and has spent the last week trying to catch up. By the time he comes upon the little tucked away coffee shop, Stiles has been up for 36 hours and doesn’t exactly remember how he ended up on that particular street.
Stiles blinks owlishly at the sign, mouthing the syllables for a few seconds. He feels an instant camaraderie to the shop, on account of both of them having weird, unpronounceable names. It feels like destiny. If Stiles believed in that sort of thing.
