Monsters have been released from the Underground and flood into Ebott City. As it turns out, this might not be so bad. Thanks to the monsters, you have a stable job at Grillby's. You've even gained a few crushes on some regulars!... I mean... who said that?
But relationships with these cute skeletons might be put to the test. When the stress gets too heavy, you tend to go completely silent... Will they still love you when they find out about your silent meltdowns? -

Being a scholar struggling with mental health isn't easy. The days feel like they're repeating themselves, and my stomach has been getting an unusually sour feeling recently. But when a student that I've never seen before keeps appearing, the cycle is broken. Who are they? Why is that hood always covering their face? Why are they always wearing gloves? When the student reveals themselves to be a skeleton from another universe, I jump at the opportunity to leave this place and join their gang of misfits. (This story is platonic and the main character is a teenager. Let it be known that this is from an OC pov, but is written in a way that it could be a reader insert, so I tagged it as such. I am not affiliated with any of the creators of these characters, nor do I support the actions of some of these creators.)

It was quiet amongst the towering buildings. A once well lived city now faded and long forgotten. It was as if every living being just disappeared into thin air where they once stood. Devoid of color and light. Snowfall hung still in the air for time had stopped. This is what happened to abandoned AU’S. Over time they slowly wither away like this. It’s people and monsters disappearing from memory and reality. This whole place that was once Ebott City now lay empty and still. In the midst of the quiet, soulless place was you.
A true miracle. Your soul's colors shone brightly against the grey. Standing tall as the last beacon of hope for your universe.
That is untill three asshole skeletons show up and take you from your home....maybe it isn't all that bad though.
