Summary
22 year old Izuku Midoriya is fresh out of university and has a teaching degree. He's been employed at U.A. high as a teacher starting in April but for now he's got money and freedom, what else could he possibly want.
Despite the loss of his quirk in the final war he managed to make a new friend a fellow quirkless person Cherika Nakashima just about the only person he speaks to anymore while his friends from school go off in there new lives as pro heroes while he falls behind. Drowning in loneliness and his failed attempts at just getting over everything that happened he falls down into a dark pit of misery and newly adopted bad habits.

He takes in a sharp inhale through his nose, his lips still pressing into Will’s. Mike slowly lifts a shaky hand to hover on the side of Will’s face and pulls away, locking eyes with Will.
Will’s face is pink, his lips wet with saliva.
Oh my god. Mike thinks.
Oh. My. God. Will thinks.
Will is staring back at Mike, his pupils dilated, darting back and forth between Will’s.
The room is filled with their pounding heartbeats and erratic breathing.
Finally Lucas cuts through the silence, “Uh…?”

Summary
What would happen if Will Byers was never found during the events of Stranger Things season 1? How would he survive the upside down? How would the people of Hawkins react?
Will breathed in a ragged breath. Black smoke poured from his mouth as he tore himself free from the wall. He collapsed forward, coughing and gasping on the cold, moist floor.
His heart pounded in his ears as he shakily scrambled to his feet. Eyes darting around the abyss, he started to run. And he ran, and ran, and ran.
His feet pounded on the ground when suddenly he found himself on a familiar path. Finally, something familiar. Will sprinted through the woods, as a feeling of hope filtered its way through the panic. He was getting there, he was gonna be safe, it was finally within reach.
Castle Byers.
The pain in his chest and legs screamed at him to rest, but he couldn't risk stopping. He pushed himself further, calves aching with each step. Suddenly, a loud screech echoed through the air from somewhere up ahead.
