Wednesday and Enid are in an established relationship as per the first story in this series. The plot if this story makes sense without reading the previous one but the dynamic of their relationship won't. I suggest reading A Fortunate Oversight first.
Wednesday agrees to visit Enid in San Francisco before she learns that she has a stalker. The stalker is an appealing intellectual challenge. Learning to navigate the dangerous bog people call emotions is a daunting task. Wednesday vows to succeed with both.

Victorian AU - Lexa is the niece of the wealthiest bachelor in their quiet English town. Her suitor's cousin, Clarke, comes visiting for a month after she returned from the continent. They meet and they start gravitating towards each other although neither of them can put a label to their feelings. Very slow burn. Like, Victorian era slow.

DRABBLE - Missionary Clarke stranded on an island encounters tribal Lexa. Set around the 15th century and is choke full of period typical racial vocabulary AND there's a big helping of anti-colonialist/anti-religion themes. Since this is basically sex with a theme - the ideas, thoughts, criticisms are not expanded on, only hinted at. Any serious reflection on the themes would appear in the plot if I ever got to actually write it. As such, the story has the potential to trigger people. You've been warned, please consider if the story is appropriate for you.

Miranda studied the tie closest to Nigel’s wrist, a patternless option in tangerine. She picked it up and beckoned Andrea over with a bend of one finger. Once close enough, she draped the tie over her assistant's left shoulder to compare it against the large apricot-toned hibiscus on the print of her blouse. It was exactly the color she was looking for, and as Miranda smoothed the fabric with her hand, she could feel Andrea’s heart thundering beneath her palm. A pink blush crept up her chest and neck, and as it made its way to her cheeks, Miranda silently admired how lovely the hue was there.
