Vergil didn’t want to be protected. He wanted to be strong. But it’s hard to focus on getting better when his little brother wouldn’t stop putting himself in trouble trying to protect him.
(or: a small rewrite of the baby twins in their childhood but their personality follows the gameverse versions instead because i think the idea and what-if is fuuuuuuuuuuuuun :D)
