出于某种缘由，他正与这样的女人生活。毫无柔情地生活。他可以选择比她起得晚一点，但不被允许在午夜十二点之后发出声音。可以在鹿野上班的时间打开电视机或是帮忙清扫房子，也可以在限度内使用鹿野给他绑定的银行卡点外卖或是网购。出门不需要报备，但他害怕她或许会责问他，所以总是在与她的对话框里简短地留下信息，关闭手机，下楼觅食，晒会儿太阳。鹿野很忙，从不回信，最多在午休时想起天气很好，发信息说记得把被子拿出去晒。有时她自己不发，口头告诉她的徒弟泽宇，由泽宇代为转述。每到这时，他就会觉得自己像传统形制的主妇，感到羞恼，动过离开的念头，最后又因为贫穷与外界的未知，很快把自己哄好。
