Summary
Dawn is sent back in time by Giratina instead of Arceus, in the hopes that she can redeem Volo before it's too late. She proceeds to run smack-dab into Volo, yap his ear off about things he absolutely should not know, and fall head over heels for this unhinged man who just wants to fight god.
Needless to say, Giratina is not having a good time. But Volo absolutely is.

Summary
It's been ten years since Dawn fought against Team Galactic on Spear Pillar and came face to face with Giratina. She wasn't expecting to ever see them again. But when a distortion portal appears before her camp one night, she finds herself sent back in time with an important mission - somewhere in the land of Hisui, there is another human who seeks to use the power of the gods for his own ends. Dawn must find and stop him before he can get a chance.
If only Giratina had bothered to explain any of that before she ran smack dab into Volo and told him that she was from the future.

Summary
To say that Volo is annoyed when an oddly-dressed woman comes barging into Turnback Cave would be an understatement. Arceus damn it all, he has a scheme with Giratina that he needs to focus on. He doesn't have the time or patience for some eccentric stranger.
But once he hears what the woman has to say, he realizes that she might just be the key asset he and Giratina were missing.
