Summary
They ask him to rate his pain on a scale of one to ten. They ask him to squeeze his left hand as hard as he can. They ask him to breathe into a plastic tube.
When they ask him to move, he wants to ask them how. They’ve chained him to the bed. Wrists, ankles. He wants to know what they’ll do once they realize that they’ve immobilized a corpse that won’t ever move again. But he wants to speak even less than he wants to know, so he keeps his mouth shut and his eyes on the ceiling.

Summary
Sae always figured having a sibling would mean shared secrets, stolen hoodies, and late-night games—someone who just got him.
What he got instead was a six-year-old with too many crayons, a ninja complex, and a bear in his hands 24x7.
Left alone with Rin for one weekend, Sae's plan was simple: study hard, survive the noise. But between the quiet moments, something shifts.
Maybe it’s not the kind of bond he expected.
But maybe—just maybe—it’s not so bad after all.

Summary
Migratory birds, or birds of passage, refer to the species of birds that travel to warmer habitats during the winter months. These birds travel thousands of kilometers around the big, wide world without taking a break, flapping their wings and soaring in the wind to get to somewhere other than where they were before, somewhere greater. Migratory birds don’t think about the place they’ve left behind, or if anybody will miss them when they leave, or if there’s anything on the other side waiting for them. Migratory birds don’t text, don’t call, and sure as hell don’t look back.
