Gone, gone, rotting. Scarlet all around her.
The Tarnished's wounds were still throbbing, her vision still hazy. Yet the pink-white lilies still bloomed so peacefully around her.
And Millicent was still dead.
She refused to believe this was truly how it ended. Millicent might think it a pointless endeavour, but to the Tarnished, it was not and never could be (not if it's her).
She just wanted to see Millicent again.

Summary
A multi-chaptered fic, set directly after episode 36 of the glorious Carmilla webseries. Explores what happens to the Silas students and its resident vampire after Laura suggested they leave for Reading Week and never come back, and will basically continue from there with my own imagination of what Season 2 would be like. Will include flashbacks of Carmilla’s past, some fighting scenes, and general Hollstein fluff of course.

"I'm afraid," Robin begins to say, and trails off, her knees buckling underneath her. With Nami's guidance she lowers herself to the sandy ground, at first trying to kneel until Nami forces her to lay down, her head supported by Nami's arms.
"I'm afraid," she continues, her voice strained, "that Chopper may not be reachable right now."

'Where is he?’ he demanded, his voice breaking against the colossal thrones like a wooden spear against the walls of Troy. The crowd stirred over his shoulder, whispers amongst ghosts, but Achilles paid them no mind.
‘And who do you speak of?’ asked Minos, the barbs of his lashing tongue catching Achilles’s skin, tearing what little remained unmarked. He turned his attention to the last of the judges, and spoke solely to Rhadamanthus.
‘Patroclus.’
