Summary
Asgore’s hand is still on him, though. Warm, firm. Heavy on his shoulder. The warmth of it spreads through his heart and soul— goes right through the soft fake flesh of his cheeks like wildfire. He can’t help but focus on the shifting weight there, borderline kneading the muscle. Asgore certainly doesn’t notice he’s doing it. Why would he? It’s hardly a conscious motion. Flowery has a vague idea, from all the lovely shoujo he’s read, of what this feeling is.
“It’s okay, oldbuddy,” is what heroines say. Well, he’s not a girl, but being a hero will have to do. He smiles. His eyes feel dewy and soft. Something akin to a heart is stirring wonderfully in his chest, kicking up drafts of sparkling and soft emotions as it goes. The world feels soft. He feels soft. This is a real feeling, at least, as far as feelings of any kind go. “It’s OK.”
School's almost out for the summer, which means vacation starts soon! Flowery's leaving a little early, though. Try not to misshim2much at graduation, okay?
He'll be back when he's back, and not a second sooner. But he's keeping all of the details a secret, so it'll be a surprise.

This had happened before. He had been through this before. This exact scenario, only a few hours ago. Meeting Freddy, talking in the greenroom, getting his watch. This had all happened before, exactly the same way, and Gregory remembered it.
Except last time, it ended up with him getting his head bitten off.

Gregory just wanted some free (stolen) food and a warm place to sleep. Except time keeps resetting whenever he dies, he can’t get out no matter what he does — and there’s something hiding in the basement of the Pizzaplex that might be connected to the weird bunny lady that’s been running around. He’s way in over his head here, isn’t he?
God, he hates this stupid place so much.

This had been how she started her night. She had been sitting here, in this very chair, just before she headed out to go find the runaway kid. After that she had been … wandering around, she thought. She had found the kid at one point, locked him up in Lost and Found while she tried to contact his parents. Then he escaped, she was pretty sure, and she had been looking for him again before she randomly passed out. It was hard to remember.
But she could remember that she had done this all before.

There is something odd going on in the Pizzaplex tonight; the security guard is acting strange, the other animatronics are no longer themselves, and there’s a boy trapped here who seems to know way more about this situation than he should. But Freddy has decided he will do everything he can to help this lost child — Gregory — escape the mall unscathed.
Meanwhile, Vanessa is having, quite possibility, the worst night of her life. But at least she isn’t stuck in an amnesic, murderous state like the animatronics, right? Right?
