I cried sm when Lonnie and Will fought...and when he called his friends and got to voicemail every time except when Mike picked up. Him just bleeding out on the floor strangly calm and Mike freaking out when he sees him.. so angsty. I this fic so much, forever one of my fav byler fanfics out there( that i have read ofc)

"You're dying." Mike's hands come up to clutch Will's shoulders. "You're literally dying right in front of me and you won't let me help you because you're worried about how I'll feel about it after. But I'm telling you right now, I don't care. I don't care if it's weird or awkward or whatever. I just need you to live. I need you."
Will can feel his resolve crumbling, can feel the way the desperation is eating away at his ability to think clearly. His body is screaming at him, demanding relief, and he's so tired of fighting it.
"It won't mean anything?" His voice is barely audible. "You promise it won't—we can just forget it happened?"
"I promise." Mike's voice is steady, certain. "We’ll stay friends—best friends."
