They had done the impossible, done what the Empire had never wanted them to do: to live. Echo could breathe easier now that his brothers and sister were safe once more, the ones he called family, far from the clutches of the Empire. But he would never be able to settle until all of his vode were able to make the same choice as his family, the choice to live a life of their own. For now though, Echo was just grateful to spend some time with his vod'ike.
