Summary
Akaashi Keiji was known for being a reserved, composed, person, almost cold at first glance, although those who knew him, knew that he was incredibly kind. He just always held a stoic expression, tense shoulders, and intense, focused stare. And that was that. Everyone on the volleyball team knew this, Bokuto especially, who knew him better than anyone, but then again, Bokuto had also never played Mario Kart with one, Akaashi Keiji.

Summary
Coming home to his solo college apartment, he opens the door as he heaved a big sigh and closed them. His hair was disheveled in a mess, no longer up and proud like it used to be. His demeanor completely wrecked and out of light. This is not the usual Bokuto Koutaro they would see. He tried to act like the usual friendly, positive, and loud him like he usually is, but as days went by with pressure from everything, it was starting to get difficult. He had learned how to handle his emotions without Akaashi’s help as he knows that not everything should be catched by Keiji (his now lover) and that he wouldn’t be there any time, especially since both have different matters to focus on. With this, he learned how to have it maintained and tried to keep all disappointments to himself. But as an emotional person himself, he sometimes wished that he could just be his authentic self, showing his true emotions and not pretending things were well for him.
So long story short, Bokuto has been fully stressed and depressed because of class, training, and people, and he pretends to be fine. But when Akaashi surprisingly visits Bokuto in his college dorm. All emotions spilled like a soda shaken and opened.

Keiji almost choked so he spat his wine back on his glass when he heard those words. He looked at the man seated across the table from him, blue eyes to gold, to see if he was joking, but it looked like he wasn’t at all. Koutarou’s leaning forward, elbows on the table, looking back at him so seriously it made his stomach flutter.
"Marry me, Keiji," Koutarou repeated, his eyes not once leaving his, voice sounding even more confident. “Please?” but he added in a soft voice.
"I.. am not going to marry you, Bokuto-san."
(No angst, purely fluff, please trust lol Bokuto just can't stop calling Akaashi pretty and just really, really wants to marry him)
