Summary
Their mother is dead. Their father is paranoid. The city of Zoar reminds them of home so they have to leave. The food is scarce, the cave is dark. Lot drinks and watches them. It only gets worse from there.
This is a continuation of my exploration of Lot and the women that surround him. Lot's Daughters are often portrayed as immoral, wicked whores. This I feel is too simplistic of an interpretation. While I do think Lot is a victim, I do not think he is the righteous man that the bible portrays him as. I use these works to explore my own religious trauma, so I will ignore non-respectful interactions.
I want to be clear. This follows the original bible canon, Lot's daughter's both rape their drunk father in this. There is explicit depictions of one of these rapes (I am a mildly sex repulsed demisexual and was told by a friend that my description of the sex grossed her out). While it is Lot's Eldest daughter initiating the rape it is described as violating and no one has a good time. Please be warned and take care of yourself.

Summary
Edith knows this city is flawed, that some of the people are wicked. She knows that no one is righteous, God and the Gospels have long been forgotten in Sodom. Despite all of this, she loves these people. The city and its people are rough, but more are good than not. She knows in the shadows people do things that God calls abomination, but who is she to judge. She and her two daughters must grapple with the city's coming destruction and their iability to save it.
The next installment of working through my religious trauma by writing bible fanfiction is Lot's Wife and the Destruction of Sodom. This one is hard because my knee jerk programing: the people of Sodom where unrighteous and deserved it. However, recent introspection has lead to the horrible realization that a person can be both good and unrighteous. This fic explores the build up and destruction of Sodom through the perspective of Lot's Wife (who I refer to as Edith for ease of reading). It explores her relationship with Sodom, the people within, and her understanding of its coming destruction. I also cover Lot offering his daughters to the angry mob to take the place of the Angels (its not explicit, but potentially triggering so be warned).

Summary
Cain was a sensitive child, he cried the first time he learned what meat was. He prefered to nurture the soil and his crops. Cain may not have been favored by his God or family, but he did his best to provide. It was never much, but it was honest work. Unfortunately, the Lord thy God isn't quite on board with Cain's attitude toward life and decides to get involved. It all goes downhill from there.
In other words, I have a lot of religious trauma. Instead of therapy I reexamine bible stories and rewrite them with empathy. I think that in many of these stories accountability must fall on the shoulders of the all knowing and all powerful God and not the people. Anyway, long story short this is another character study of one of the 'villians' of the bible.

Summary
The original story of Judas never sat right with me. Why is Judas so ignored in the gospels? I want to hear his side of the story. Since that will never happen I decided to write this little character study of Judas and Jesus and their relationship. God is not the 'Bad Guy', but he is an ineffable puppet master. Jesus is a mediator through and through. Judas is covetous and ambitious, just not the way God intended.
In other words, my religious trauma hit me like a truck and I've been on the verge of a minor anxiety attack all week. So i decided to put my energy into writing this wonderful little fic (that will probable get me sent to outer darkness) instead of focusing on all the grad school work I still need to complete.
(side-note: i was raised in a very orthodox LDS household so my version of events may differ from the bible you know)

To save his universe from a synthetic drug made from his venom, Peter exiles himself to a new universe to give everyone he loves a fresh start. After a month of trying to get used to a new New York that's ever so slightly different, he ends up finding his footing: bartending at Sister Margaret's on the dayshift, and picking up the reins of Spider-Man at night.
Wade gets back from a job to find that there's a new annoying baby hero in town that's messing up his shit (boo!) and that the new bartender at Sister Margaret's is the hottest, funniest, most adorable hunk Wade ever did propose marriage to immediately.
