Faiblesse is a runaway lord's child, with a condition that weakened their bones and joints. They ran away to find something to properly cure them, rather than simply keeping themself quiet and in bed whilst in pain.
Coming to Oakhurst wasn't exactly on purpose, but it was the furthest they could go.

My uncle had two male beta fish a while ago that were in the same tank and besties, and when one died the other died shortly after, and I recalled that, so I've made this.
Atsushi and Ryunosuke were beta fish, next to each other with no separator in their store, and when taken home by a brown haired man, in the same tank as each other.
Sometimes they fought, other times they swam together happily.
It felt like it'd go forever.

Killer, 053, is a 28 year old man, fresh out of an 11 year sentencing for the murder of a small family. False, of course, but the nickname Killer stuck. And he wasn't able to get a job for nothing due to the false charges.
So he when he got the deal to play some games for cash? He took it.
Rain, 299, was a 15 year old boy who recently got diagnosed with a brand new terminal illness, with no recorded cure yet. He knows when he dies his siblings will need to go on without the little bit of money he, as the eldest, was able to make before it all.
He took the deal in hopes of getting some money for them after he's dead.
Or- Killer and Rain are two people from different places in life, one falsely accused of crimes, and one soon to die from his illness. They meet, and protect each other, and one dies unable to do anything about it.
Or Or- I played Ink Game on Roblox and had a story worthy game while AO3 was down! (I was Rain, so much of Killer's things are possibly wrong!!)
