Klaus frantically waved his siblings over, "Come look at this!"
"Not now, Klaus." Diego dismissed.
Klaus scowled, "Stop being a stubborn asshole and just come look at this, it's important!" At Diego's unconvinced look, he added, "It'll take one minute of your, oh, so precious time."
Five rolled his eyes and jumped over to Klaus, the rest reluctantly following.
At that moment, the teenager got up and started to walk away. A teenager that looked suspiciously like a younger version of Klaus.
Diego placed his hands on his knees and leaned forwards, squinting, "You pulled us over here just because of some random kid?" Diego asked, annoyed.
"Not just some random kid," Five breathed, eyes wide.
Klaus gestured to Five, enthusiastically, "He gets it."
OR
The Hargreeeves land on a roof after Five teleports them and Klaus spots a younger version of himself sitting on a bench. When he gets up and walks away, they follow him to a community center-they're not surprised-cue Klaus's offense.

After they get back from the 60's, Five starts investigating a string of suspicious murders while distancing himself from a family he's convinced he's already lost.
So, naturally, Klaus and Diego join him."Holy shit, Five," Diego says, rushing forward. "What the hell happened to you?"
Five is off-balanced by the sight of Diego. Shouldn’t he be at the other address? What is he doing here?
Klaus appears on the other side of Diego and lets out a laugh that sounds almost frantic. "Oh, thank God you can see him, too.”
“Why are you here?” Five says.
Diego scoffs. “Yeah, no, the one covered in blood doesn’t get to ask questions.”Series

Summary
One shot AU. Instead of 13 year old Five getting stuck in post-apocalypse 2019, he gets stuck in 2006 - not long after Ben’s death. Since he hasn’t landed too many years away from 2003, he hatches a plan to get back to then so he can go back with this information and save their brother. “Yeah, but this stray is our stray, Five. Itʼs Klaus.” Fiveʼs eyes snapped up in alarm at that, marching over to him with long strides. His entire body tensed at the sight of his little brother who looked so awful, it was as if a breeze of wind could knock the life out of him.
( The Hargreeves lands in 1996 merely seconds before chunks of the destroyed moon came hurtling towards them.
Within minutes of being stuck in the past, they find a seven year old Klaus passed out in a desolate graveyard. )
