Summary
Shamiko is awakened the night before her Christmas Date with Momo, but there is a problem?! Santa is not coming! This is a job for the boss of Tama City.
Basically the Machikado Mazoku version of the classic magical girl plot of the girls helping deliver presents (particularly Star Twinkle Precure or Ojamajo Doremi S1 both ep 44). Kind of a parody in a sense, but plays it straight.
Christmas should probably be taking place in vol7 or vol8 of Machikado Mazoku manga, but Izumo Ito-sensei has not written that far. I will probably not include any content past volume 5 (and even then it is mostly just the appearance of Honyu). So some spoilers for post S2 of the anime, but not too much.
