Henry nods, leaning against his own door frame. Alex isn’t sure what the man does outside of going to grad school at NYU, but it must be bench-pressing horses based on the size of his biceps. Henry reaches up to push his glasses higher on his nose and Alex swears he wasn’t that bisexual when the day started. “Would you like to wait in my apartment for your friend?”

The other's head whips up at Alex’s voice and his wet eyes grow large as saucers before a dark blush heats up his cheeks.
“Making a cake.” He answers clipped.
Alex chuckles in disbelief. “Sweetheart, you have never once in your life even attempted to make a cookie, how on earth did you think making a cake in the middle of the night while being drunk was a good idea?” And well, Alex did just answer his own question, didn’t he? Vodka makes Henry do dumb stuff.
Henry mumbles something unintelligible as another stray tear escapes his eye. Alright, Alex is officially worried. Something is definitely wrong. Why is Henry not talking to him?
