"You should leave me," Jaskier mumbles. It takes a second for Geralt to parse out the words, and when he does he feels ice chasing the potion through his veins.
"Stop fucking saying that," Geralt says, and maybe he is angry at Jaskier - not for the injury, never that, but for the idea that Geralt would consider leaving him behind. For thinking even for a second that Jaskier lying abandoned on a battlefield to die is a price Geralt could ever pay.

Eventually, they had to admit that relying solely on their care and friendship was less than ideal. Bob needed professional help.
So here they were now, three days into his new routine of mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, and anxiolytics. The meds still hadn’t begun to work their magic on his body — or, well, his brain — but Bob's lack of interest in his last meals made Bucky think that the side effects might be a little faster.
Or five times the New Avengers helped Bob with the side effects of his medication.

Summary
Jaskier.
He had longer hair, shoulder length and matted. His cheeks were stubbled and tear stained. His clothes were ratty, worn, and not colorful at all. His hands bandaged. And his eyes… his eyes were nervous, and… hurt. Deeply hurt. But here his bard was, alive, petting Roach and staring at Geralt.
Geralt moved forward and hugged the man to his chest without thought. He wasn’t expecting the flinch, nor for the bard to pull away, but Geralt let him go. He didn’t know what had come over him anyway.
He was happy enough just to look at the man.
“Where have you been?” He asked. “I’ve been searching for you, ever since…” he trailed off, expecting Jaskier to chime in, like he always did.
Jaskier didn’t say anything.
