Summary
“I came here to take a look at the store and to see you, of course. But I know you’re working, so I’m not gonna take up much of your time. I came to tell you we’re back in town for a month.”
Shane’s heart dropped.
He felt lightheaded, but he needed to make sure.
“We?” He asked, clearing his throat.
As Rose’s hand tightened on his arm, Shane risked glancing up at her. Her eyes were full of sorrow, and he knew.
“Yeah,” Rose breathed. “Me, Sveta, and Ilya.”

Shane Hollander's life is turned upside down when he is informed his high school ex, who is now a Hollywood-famous actor, is back in town. However, that on its own shouldn't really affect him. After all, Ottawa is a big city, and Shane has been avoiding all their known spots like the plague. But, he didn't manage to count on a new, unforeseeable factor: Ilya didn't come back in town in a misguided attempt of chasing nostalgia. He has more on his plate than fame and unresolved feelings for Shane, and that's exactly what brings them back together.

Summary
“Sweetheart, your pretty little head is so silly. For every photocard I make of ugly hockey men, I make two of my gorgeous, radiant, pulchritudinous boyfriend. Sometimes three.”
A smile breaks through the heated haze of Shane’s expression. “You’ve been using the thesaurus Dad got you for Christmas?”
“I will beat Yuna Hollander at Scrabble one day,” Ilya declares against Shane’s hip bone.
In the year between the Cottage and the Centaurs, Ilya misses Shane more than ever. Svetlana’s teenage cousin offers a coping method: Kpop-style Shane Hollander photocards to stare at all day long. It's a shame carrying around pictures of fellow hockey players is just not socially acceptable.
…At least, not yet.

Summary
Cazador gestured down to the man in crippled subordination. “Astarion knows nothing of selflessness. Allow him to ascend in my place and you will be discarded here once you’ve served your purpose, another corpse to litter my palace.”
“No, he-“
“Do you truly think he cares for you? A vampire spawn? Ha!”
Tav recoiled.
“It would be pathetic had you been the only one taken in by him. You are no different to him than the spawn in the cells were. A warm body to find comfort in. To fuck and feed from. A pretty means to an ugly end.”

Cazador captures Tav and uses her to lure Astarion back to him. Act 3 spoilers obv
