Summary
"You’ve hidden away your portrait," Tessa said in a colorless voice, keeping her eyes fixed on Dorian.
"A matter of modesty," he replied without flinching. "I realized that hanging one’s own image in the living room was as tastless as laughing at one’s own jokes."
He lowered his head slightly and bent down to kiss Tessa’s hand.
"Lady Herondale," he murmured in a velvet voice "you haven't aged a day.""I could say the same about you, Dorian."
He smiled.
"Oh, you’re flattering me!”"How silly of me, I actually meant to pity you." she replied icily. "Unlike you, I have never considered immortality a privilege."

Tessa Gray meets Dorian Gray, because London is not that big and immortals all know each other anyway.

Summary
He takes her to the most sophisticated bars and orders the most expensive wines and always fills her glass before remembering, foolish him, that she is still too young to drink. There’s always a strange look on his face everytime the age gap between them becomes obvious, a sort of amused embarrassment, as if someone just caught him slightly breaking the rules. Ops.
Jenny and David goes visiting an old apartment looking for antiquities. They don't find what they expected.

Tony has got the hero's funeral.
Black suits, flower bouquets, commemorative speeches by friends and family, even a statement on the evening news.
Clint doesn't know how to handle such a blatant expression of grief. He finds it inappropriate, almost tacky, in comparison with the hundreds of deads that will never be mourned.
Deaths like Natasha's, for one thing. -

"Don't die, not so far from the sea"
Yara asked you only one thing and you still managed to disappoint her. You left the Iron Islands - safe from the White Walkers, just like any other island - to go back to Winterfell and die, thousands of miles from any puddle of water that is not frozen. Now your sister's prayer is tireless undertow that sloshes in the depths of your mind

"Oh Joe" you moan, breaking our kiss "Fuck me now...Fuck me as if I were a book" you pant and oh Beck, you are lucky I love you, otherwise I would hate you so much.
Fuck me as I were a book, really?
I wonder if this some kind of obscure reference to 50 shades of nonsense, but I hope it's not cause really, you are so much better than that. But your hands are all over me and I think alright, fuck it. If you want to go Atonement on me, I am totally in. I am a bookstore owner and you're a wannabe writer, so if that is your kind of kink, is my duty as your boyfriend to play along.

Summary
I think I can speak for everyone saying that none of us really wanted to go to Baltimore to get to know that Professor Lecter. Not because we were bothered by the idea of travelling for so long, but because spending a whole weekend in Julian’s company meant that we had to carry on our performance well past its normal lenght, and we didn’t know if the makeup on our faces would hold up, or melt like the wax on Icarus’s wings.

Summary
«Dean, I think… I think there's a reason why we got here. Maybe we have to find this boy!»
«Yeah, right. We time-travelled to find a kid? And don’t give me that “Everything happens for a reason” shit» Dean said, using air quotes «I've got Castiel for that.»
His brother sighed.
«That’s not what I am saying. But you said it yourself, there isn’t a plausible reason why we’ve ended up in Indiana… yet here we are, in 1983, and a boy’s missing. What were the chances?»
«People disappear all the time!» Dean bursted out.
«Yeah, but time-travel isn’t that common, is it? It’s clear that something brought us here – call it what you want, God, Fate-»
«A road atlas»
«The point is that maybe we can help. Don’t you wanna try to make the most of the time we have here?»

Summary
People hurt.
For different reasons, in different ways. Someone hugs pain like it was an old friend, someone keeps ignoring it, answering “Fine” to everyone asking “How are you”, because “How are you” is most of the times a way to start a conversation and not an actual question.
There are warning signs – things like haircuts and missed calls and long silences – but you have to notice them. You have to care about someone to pay attention to these details. If you do, if you care enough, maybe you will notice if a friend of yours is hurting. You may want to help him, to save him – as if you knew how.
There isn't any handbook telling you what to do, in this case.
You can just try and guess, and hope for the better. -

Summary
Another kid, on the creek shore.Ptolomy has told him about this possibility.
He has told him that he has extraordinary cerebral capacities and that in certain conditions – of great peace or, on the contrary, of great focus – he could be able to pick up other people’s brain waves, like a radio station playing two songs at one time because of a signal interference.
Til now, he has only experienced auditory stimuli – the voices he has been hearing are apparently people’s thoughts – but in the future he could have some visual glitches. He doesn’t need to worry, it’s totally normal. In other words, his mind is so fucked up that his hallucinations could have hallucinations, but he really doesn’t need to worry.
Or: the crossover where David Haller makes friends in his mind and pets dog - or at least that's what he thinks -

Summary
«Do you ever think about what it could have been?» she asked quickly, as if that question had been on her lips all the time and it had just finally lost its balance. «If something had gone wrong – or right – if we both had made different choices?»
Sebastian chocked back a bitter laugh.
If I think about it?
I play it every night.
I play our version of the story, I play of starlight waltzes and kitchen walls painted in yellow, I play of a blonde boy, car trips and horns broken by exasperated neighbours. -
