Anduin indietreggia fino a sentire il legno solido della porta della Locanda dietro la schiena bloccargli i passi, gli occhi vuoti puntati su quella figura apparsa dal nulla come evocata dai suoi pensieri – trema, gli manca il fiato, l’armatura gli comprime il torace così tanto da sentirsi soffocare, da sentirsi morire, da sentire gli arti intorpidirsi ad ogni respiro affaticato. Sembra aver visto un fantasma, uno spirito creato dalla propria mente per perseguitarlo… un’aberrazione creata soltanto per torturarlo, e mentre la mano sinistra cerca la maniglia freneticamente, il suo sguardo viaggia ovunque tranne che sulla figura altrui. Quando la trova, apre con violenza la porta e vi svanisce all’interno con una velocità inaudita. Un tonfo per chiuderla, altri colpi, passi. E dall’esterno soltanto il rumore del suo stomaco che si riversa da qualche parte.
