Summary
It starts with a sore throat, puttering around at home because he managed to convince Mama to let him stay home, just for a day, because he’s not feeling well.
It gets worse with a near-constant ache in his chest from coughing, when the flower petals start a few at a time, then more and more, until they’re a steady stream, and Izumi has to wonder how many more he has in him before he just gives up on trying to get rid of them.
And when Leo doesn’t come back, when it’s just him left all alone with three brats he doesn’t trust, it feels like the flowers never stop.

It was also a well-known fact that none of the dorms could go over their budget. A thaumark more than the limit was a thaumark too much, and even if a student wished to use their own money to contribute to a dorm’s funds, they would not be allowed to do that, to make sure every dorm was on ‘equal’ footing.
But that wasn’t, of course, to say there was no way to make a profit out of things. There were no rules against personal spending on things that weren’t related to the dorms’ showcases. So of course…
“…of course Azul found a way to leech off the student body, even during a celebration meant for visitors.” Riddle glanced up from his brochure, rolling his eyes at the sight before him.

“Shut the fuck up. That’s not the problem here. You? A ‘zest for life?’ Looking forward to each new morning? Hah! Rimbaud would sooner come back to life.”
Dazai turns to Chuuya with the barest facsimile of a smile painted over his lips.
“I,” he says sweetly, “am going to gut you open like a fish.”
Dazai and Chuuya are seasoned mafiosos at the ripe old age of almost-seventeen. They’ve fought gang wars, interrogated prisoners, and done all manner of unspeakable things. Now, they face their greatest challenge yet: going (undercover) to a real high school. With regular teens (who may or may not be desperately trying to get them to kiss).
