Summary
John Watson had never been a huge fan of Christmas time. Indeed, it had been much harder for him ever since his Father passed away in the year of 1862. Despite this, he had never hated the holiday and the surrounding fanfare. He had been nervous he would once he returned from war; it was hard to feel much merriment after experiencing the horrors that came with such gruesome bloodshed.
This was the mindset he fully intended on equipping as the joyful holiday approached...and then he befriended Sherlock Holmes.

Luigi stood outside of the building, clutching his suitcase in one of his hands. Honestly, it was a lovely hotel, with the golden walls and bright white curtains placed on the insides of the windows. He was surprised that he and a few others were even invited to spend a few days here…for free! It didn’t surprise him that Princess Peach and Daisy were invited…but still. Free!

Luigi and his friends are invited to a gorgeous hotel called "The Last Resort". Finally free to get a break, he's ready to relax along with his close friends.But then the hard truth pummels into him: It's another ghost-infested building. It was all an elaborate trap.
(Or, in short, it's Luigi's Mansion 3 written out as a chapter thing with Daisy being a main character.)
