Annette's voice makes him feel emotions.
Felix has also gotten good at compartmentalizing emotions, setting them aside, dealing with them later, and later, and later. But if "later" didn't exist for Glenn, for Dimitri..."later" definitely doesn't exist in wartime. What a shame those "emotions" still do.

Hitoshi has worked hard to defy expectations and move forward, leaving the dark parts of his past behind him. He won't let his roots get to him any longer, he's free.
All it takes is one day off-kilter, a week before Christmas in their second year, for the truths they thought they knew of themselves to come crashing down.
