Summary
Ragnarök has passed, and the world is beginning to heal. Atreus has returned to Midgard, and Kratos has begun to do what he can as a God to rebuild and reconcile.
Unfortunately, strangers have a tendency to show up on the doorstep of their homestead, and this stranger is one Kratos never thought he would see again. One that has invited him back to his homeland.

If you know the plot of the games leading up to GoW 2018, then you kind of know what kind of themes and topics this story will cover. if not, I highly recommend proceeding with caution. Also, sticking to some of the darker personifications of Greek Gods (ex Zeus being a serial r*pist), so please, be warned. Content warnings for the chapters will be posted in the starting notes.

Summary
This is an AU fic, set after the Second Wizarding War. Here we follow Severus Snape, who is very much alive thanks to Lucius Malfoy's defection from Voldemort's wishes, through his journey in recovering from his injuries and getting his life back together.
We also follow Lucius, who since losing his wife to the tragedy of war (thus losing his son's contact in the process), has fallen on incredibly difficult times.The pair seemingly only have each other, and in their mutual attempts to cope, revisit the lost feelings of the past and pave the way for the future. Together, they will rise from the ashes.

Summary
Lucius saves the students left behind in the bowels of the Department of Mysteries and safely delivers them to Snapes' quarters in the dungeons.
Upon treating Hermione's injuries via muggle methods shocking revelations regarding her parentage are revealed that leaves a wake of destruction and results in mutinous actions from those that once called themselves her friends and mentors.
Hermione realizes that war won't be won by waiting around and planning the inevitable, and it definitely won't be won by trying to stun those who are trying to flail you.
Knowing that all is not always white or black Hermione embraces her inner Slytherin, and those around her to ensure that no one will ever enter the wizarding world feeling like they don't belong.
All of this is set in motion when she wakes up in the hospital wing, staring into cold grey eyes, spitting magic and fury her way.
Slowly he utters "What the fuck GRANGER?!"
