Summary
‘Cicero,’ she said, voice soft, the visible parts of her face unreadable. There were bags under her eyes, purple rings on her near translucent skin. ‘You’re well?’
‘Oh yes, Listener,’ He smirked. ‘Cicero is very well. You made a mistake, sparring me. Cicero is here to finish the fight!’
She ripped her mask off, falling back against the whispering door. 'Then be quick about it, perhaps I will find rest in the void,’ she snarled, pale lips pulled back to reveal slightly bucked teeth.

Listener and Keeper struggle to find their places again in the reborn Dark Brotherhood, leaving them in a dance, a push and pull of desire and duty, of hunter and hunted.

He licked his lips. A. Z. Fell could taste something on the breeze. He tried to keep to the shadows, to follow the scent yet against all expectations the further into the ruin he travelled, the brighter it got.
Birds chirped. Running water bubbled. Fell found himself standing on a grassy verge. Flowers of every colour swayed in the light breeze. A few butterflies swooped by, their wings an intoxicating flash of colour and life. A. Z. Fell took it all in with wide, pale eyes. Then he saw it. A tree, not too far from him, lush and green and from the branches hung fruit. Pears! He liked pears!

Summary
Set right at the end of Nightwatch. Havelock goes to visit Sybil and Sam after the birth of their son and Vimes has some feelings.
--
Vetinari stood beside him and looked down. The baby was swaddled, small, scrunched face placid in sleep. He had the smallest tuft of brown hair. Something deep inside Havelock clicked into place and he sighed.
'His name's Sam,' Vimes said softly, reaching down to run a finger down the baby's nose. 'Sybil insisted.'
'He's...so small.'

Summary
After a failed assassination attempt, Havelock is being looked after by Sybil and Sam.
--
He closed his eyes with a sigh. His arms felt better. With bandages wrapped from around his thumb and palm to just above his elbow, the burning on his arms had almost completely gone.'Honestly, what a cruel thing to try,' Sybil whispered, clicking her tongue.
'Assassination attempts are never going to be polite, my dear,' Havelock said softly, focusing on her touch and not the stinging itchiness spreading over his back.

Summary
It was impossible for Anthryn to keep their eyes off of him for the rest of the meal, which he seemed to relish with exaggerated delight, and he looked over to them every so often to make sure they were still watching him. He always basked in their attention. He was greedy for it. Mother would not have him but the Listener loved to hear him speak, and he loved to provide for them. That he could provide them with anything was gratifying, exciting, but it also stirred feelings that itched and burned and which he pushed away into the edges of his brain.

Summary
His gaze lingered for a moment, soft yet piercing, before flickering down to watch as a droplet of water from her wet hair descended down her arm. He reached out, catching the droplet with his fingertip and following its trail upward, his touch igniting a trail of gooseflesh in its wake.
The playful mask slipped, replaced by something quieter, more sincere. “You work too hard,” he said softly, almost to himself. “Always the weight of the world on those weary shoulders. The Listener carries so much—too much. Let someone carry her, just for a little while."

Summary
There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.
