Summary
Serizawa realizes his growing infatuation with Reigen and is frightened by it, so much so he struggles to conceal it and it bleeds into all parts of his life. His dreams, days off, even class time. He tries to cope by trying to distance himself from Reigen, but every time he tries he ends up back at his side, looking for approval, for attention.
He even struggles to look at the man, always getting entranced, caught staring far too many times for his liking. And Serizawa wouldn’t describe himself as a good man, his thoughts prove that, especially those he has in private. He wishes he knew how to make these feelings dissipate, how to not sabotage his new life, to not jeopardize all of it.

And, for better or for worse, he really, really likes his boss.
So when Reigen takes Serizawa out drinking for his birthday, things come to a head, and that's not just a joke about the shitty beer.
