Edgar stared at his phone, trying to understand if he was still sleeping or if this was some kind of joke, either from Ranpo or from his own consciousness. He blinked a couple of times, speechless, then he buried his head in the pillow, trying to process what had just happened. He was still laying in his bed, even though the clock on his phone said it was nearly noon. Nothing strange actually, he was used to staying up late at night and catching up on sleep during the whole morning, often woken up by Karl or by a call from his dear rival. But, for sure, he wasn’t used to messages like these.

Poe living with Ranpo is absolute torture. All crush-laced corsets and muttered curse words when he tripped on something and tied back hair. Ranpo doesn't feel like himself.
So maybe kissing a bit will fix things.
