Summary
One week before her first year at Oxford University officially began, Penelope Featherington developed the first real crush of her young life.
This wasn’t love. It couldn’t be love. She didn’t believe in love at first sight.
Like, though. She fell seriously in like.
A modern-day college/university AU with Peneloise friendship, lots of exasperation, and Violet meaning well. No one knows who has charge of the shared Bridgerton sibling brain cell, but it's certainly not Colin. Penelope loves him anyway.

Summary
Betty almost misses the flyer.
But five feet from the end of the block, something snags in her mind, pulling her body to a stop. Without knowing why, she retraces her steps back along the sidewalk until she’s standing before it: the telephone pole she’s passed at least a hundred times on her way from the subway to Jughead’s building. She’s never looked at it twice before.
M I S S I N G, the poster says in big red block letters. ENDANGERED ADULT!
Her breath catches in her throat. She knows the smiling face staring back at her in faded print -- the lightly freckled cheeks, the curly auburn hair pulled back with a girlish red bow. She used to see that face every day in homeroom at Riverdale High.

Summary
Most days, Betty Cooper rose before the sun, dressing herself for farm work and getting breakfast ready for her two farm hands, Farmer John and Kevin. ...
This farm life was a dream come true. She reminded herself often that this was what she always wanted, and it was the truth. Only thing was that she never thought she’d be alone doing it. She had always thought she’s have someone by her side.
...
He had not expected Betty Cooper to look the way she did. When he booked this Bed & Breakfast as his writing getaway, he had been told that it was a quiet, out of the way place, with an accommodating owner/hostess who cooked divine spreads, offered great conversation, and made her guests feel right at home.
He had been expecting a more matronly figure, gray haired perhaps, stately, maybe, the way those baby boomer, Hampton-living, ladies carried themselves. She had, after all, been described by his editor as a cross between Martha Stewart, Ina Garten, and Ree Drummond of Pioneer Woman fame. None of those ladies were leggy, in their twenties, smelled like sweet lilacs, and was gorgeous as hell. And none of them had that long blonde hair...

Jughead hates Christmas.
He hate hates it. Everything. The songs, the decorations, the whole cheesey seasonality of it. Bah humbug to the lot of it.

Summary
He realizes only upon arriving home that night that he probably should have told at least one of his roommates about the cat. In his defense, it’s a Friday, and it was actually busy at Pop’s all evening.
Plus the cat is really Betty’s responsibility, not his.
(Betty needs a cat-sitter, and Jughead's right next door. Season 5 canon divergence.)

Summary
“Your parents hate me.”
“They do not.”
But they both know it’s true. In Alice and Hal Cooper’s eyes, Jughead Jones was the root from which all of their younger daughter’s perceived failures had stemmed. Not in the ways they’d once feared – teen pregnancy, trailer parks – but in ways they’d never even imagined, not in their worst nightmares. Threatening to drop out of college? Giving up on journalism? Tailing dangerous drug dealers and photographing cheating spouses for pay?
All Jughead’s fault.
Sometimes he even agrees with them.

Summary
“You are not spending Christmas somewhere random and alone! I don’t care how much of a Scrooge you try to convince me you naturally are. I can’t condemn you to that.”
His shoulders drop a little, and Betty feels a soft ache in her heart to see that he would have done it, if she’d asked. It is more than a small miracle that he’s entertaining how to solve her completely solvable problem. Just tell Alice that you live with a man. One you are not sleeping with. Which she might actually hate more than if you were, seeing as it points to all her fears of you dying alone.
That’s when she gets a positively bonkers idea.
It’s Veronica levels of unhinged, really.

Summary
“You guys want to join us?” Her voice is like golden syrup, light and warm. Archie is still frozen, so Jughead takes the bait, unsure where his uncharacteristic lightness and confidence come from.
“Only if you’re treating.” He saunters over to their booth and hops around the bench, climbing over and into the vacancy next to Veronica. “Long time no see, Betty.” An understatement; he’s not sure she remembers seeing him at all.
She smiles back, genuinely, and sighs, “Wow. Jughead Jones.”
“The third,” is all he can manage, taken aback by her clear memory of him and the way she searches his face for hints of the boy she had met, once.

Summary
Here it is, folks, the craft-brewing Bughead fantasy nobody needed!
When Betty's Northern California family farm is threatened by drought, Betty hatches a scheme to diversify. She struggles to find a market for her new product -- that is, until she meets a temperamental brew master by the name of Jughead who's willing to take a risk to get his brewery back on track. Attraction is brewing between them, but life is complicated for these two, and lots and lots of fluffy angst ensues.
Disclaimer: I am not a farmer, nor am I a brewer. I'm doing a bit of quick-and-dirty googling to produce a veneer of realism here, but let me apologise in advance for any inaccuracies!

Summary
Sequel to Time after Time. Betty and Jughead investigate gang activity at what was once the Maple Club.
Jughead has a girlfriend. A live-in girlfriend. Jessica, he said. Her name is Jessica. And he showed her a picture on his phone. Jessica is a brunette. She has a nose ring, and a wide smile. She is pretty in an understated way. She looks like the type of woman who enjoys poetry slams and vegan cafés.
When Betty thinks about Jessica, she feels like the wind has knocked out of her. She feels like running until her legs give out and she falls to the ground, stomach heaving and heart pounding in her ears.
So she tries not to think about Jessica. She tries to reframe her relationship with Jughead. They are friends. Old friends – who happen to be very good at investigating strange events and chasing down drug gangs.

Summary
The panic doesn’t set in right away. The panic sets in about five minutes later, when Pop creates a television screen out of thin air, and shows Jughead a video about his life.
A video about his life…and the way he’d dedicated the last ten years of it to helping wayward youths escape the perilous clutches of gang life.
That’s when the panic sets in.
Because he – Forsythe Pendleton Jones III, also known as Jughead – never did any of those things.
And he does not belong in the Good Place.
