When he moved, she snapped the picture before she processed what she was seeing. A body, definitely dead based on the awful shape it was in, bedecked in red, green, and yellow. Her stomach sank as Batman let out an awful cry that she could hear from all the way across the street. Snap! (The photo would not have that sound in it; Vicki would remember it though.)
Batman pulled Robin – Robin’s body – into a hug, burying his face in the boy’s hair. Snap!
Vicki took the pictures because it was all she could do. It felt like a step beyond invasive. Those pictures would probably make her career.
Or, what if the events of A Death In The Family took place in Gotham?

Summary
