    “Right,” Tim stared at him for a long moment, eyes narrowed but also slightly glazed over, and then continued his well-worn path to the coffee machine. “Quick follow up question, then. Um, why is Red Hood sitting at our dining table?”

    Jason thought all heroes were good people. Just like Bruce was.

    So he’d be safe in the Watchtower. He was surrounded by heroes! These were the kind of guys who’d take down the creeps in dark alleys. No one would… no one was gonna… no, Jason was just being paranoid.

    Jason pulled his knees into his chest, wrapping his arms around himself in a hug. He felt his chin wobble and buried his face down. It wasn’t fair. Bruce promised this would stop. It was one of the whole reasons Bruce pulled him off the streets! But maybe he just meant guys in alleyways. The rules could be different in the hero world.
