Lillian’s appetite is pretty much over within seconds. She pushes around the anchovies on her plate while Lena digs into her caesar salad, telling tales from work and how Kara dropped by with something atrocious called Big Bob’s Burgers or whatever junk they eat, how Kara wrote a really nice article about her and L-Corp and how delighted she is Kara introduced her to SuperGirl and her friends.
“Kara Danvers,” Lillian tries, “she does look familiar.”
“She does, doesn’t she.” Lena smiles, forgoing table etiquette and waving her fork around enough for a crouton to fall onto the floor, “She just has that kind of face, I think.”
OR
Lillian Luthor is pretty damn sure there's something happening between her daughter and Kara Danvers/SuperGirl. She has no idea how her certified MENSA genius child hasn't figured it out for herself yet.
