i love this. i really do. the triwizard tournament part is INCREDIBLE and the concept was executed really well.
but i think (and this is in no way shade to the author) regulus deserves so much better. he deserves more than a brother who barely loved him (fuck sirius honestly he was absolutely insufferable for like 90% of the time he appears). and james, who loves regulus with all his heart, can't even be bothered to actually listen to him and actually LOOK at him.
regulus has gone through some awful shit and i wish he had real friends who cared about him (aside from dora). but regulus prevails. he's a resilient character through and through and i am hopeful that he had a good ending in this universe at least.
