Spoke's said it once and he'll say it again. He hated Purgatory. Not in an "Oh this place sucks!" kind of way, literally just pure hatred. He wanted to burn the place to the ground. He also hated Jamato! The dude was such a fucking bitch about everything he did! Also, he was literally the reason Spoke was here in the first place! Not to mention he also ruined his life.
He wanted to get out of here. He needed to get out of here. Unfortunately for him though, it wasn't that simple.
Or, Spoke hates Purgatory and like any other normal person wants to escape. The only problem though is that escaping is not exactly...easy.

Lloyd didn't know how he felt about being an oni, and since he wasn’t even sure how he felt about it himself, he surely wasn’t going to go and tell everybody he knew that he was an oni. That just didn’t make sense. In fact, Lloyd would probably never tell them, ever. But, secrets can’t stay hidden forever.
Or, Lloyd gets just a tiny bit angry at Arin and Sora and finally tells them that he’s an Oni.
