Summary
There was a beast in the mountains, so the locals said. A strange chimera, wandering the wilds of the north, gets taken in by Fort Briggs after it gets injured protecting one of the soldiers. Scout, as she comes to be known, grows to enjoy her time at the fort, growing close with the people there, though the peace can't last.
The fallout that occurs is messy, and Scout, now a prisoner rather than a friend, would do anything to regain the trust of those she's come to care for.
When Drachman forces invade the fort, Scout must find a way to prove herself, or lose her new home for good.

Summary
Basically what it says on the tin. Humanity is the first and main story in this collection, while the others are spin-off AUs that I write when inspiration for them strikes. They are less thought out than Humanity but they are mostly self-induldent soooooo I don't really care oops.

The Doctor, freshly regenerated and finally back to peaceful times, had his first adventure that face had seen, asked that brilliant human girl if she wanted to join him travelling the universe, and… was turned down. Oh. Well, that doesn’t usually happen. (He should have just led with the time machine bit, but he’d fix that mistake eventually…)
So, he supposed it was back to business as usual, travelling the entirety of time and space. Just the Doctor, the TARDIS, and… nobody else. That’s totally fine, though! No, he wasn’t suddenly feeling the weight of his loneliness and recent past crashing in on top of him, why would you ask a silly question like that?

Shawn Spencer had just been assigned his strangest case yet, as unlikely as that sounds with Psych’s track record in weirdness. A part-timer at a tourist trap was killed, but this body didn’t look like a human killed it, it looked more like an animal attack… but at the same time, it was way too clean to be one. Not to mention that wild animals any bigger than a mouse don’t usually hang out in random tourist traps. What the heck was going on here?
