Summary
Five shots currently coursed through the body of a young detective: two of them being the .38 special from a snubnose that a smug mob boss he had beat within an inch of his life pulled on him, the other three being the cheap whiskey he chased them down with to numb the pain.
Not that he wasn’t already used to pain that is. He’d already lost an eye, a kidney, and a god-damn nut doing this shit. It was a good thing the gig had three things going for it: Carnage, some cool co-workers, and a really, really hot boss.
When a serial killer terrorizes a 1950's metropolis, morally-questionable detective, Denji, eager to impress his boss, greedily accepts the case. Will it be another run of the mill case? Or something far more disasterous for his heart?
